Lavenderblue love songs

Lavenderblue love songs

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Lovers pause to dance among the Indigo Iris...

"
When the sun settles on the sun dial and time moves slowly,

romance appears where snapdragons reside in a

garden of "forget me nots"...

remembering intimate foxtrots...

Passion flowers line the path and woodthrush sing their song,

Robin eggs blue and the new moon peep behind a cloud or two

Melodies of mischief surround the glade in hushed tones

of lavender blue and amethyst true...

Another little gem, Pat.

You must have the most vibrant, wonderful garden in the world if you get all your inspiration from viewing it from afar.

Full of lush visuals and delicate description of the natural frolicking shenanigans of those who play in the garden home.

A lovely piece. Well written as always.

A naturally melodic poem, extolling love and nature. Makes me want to go out under that moon! ( I am not sure about the line 'remembering intimate foxtrots'. The rhyme seem to jar a bit, but is probably just me. ) The poem is lovely.

Thank you auntie... so many flowers and so little time to think of a rhyme...
I can sense the serenity in this. I sort of think of my own garden being like this. But i keep changing it.
I'm obviously looking for some look that isn't there.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Your garden is so vivid & full of sensory delights. I love the way you use different versions of the color lilac/blue, both in name & in imagery. This is the way I wish I could write when I'm looking out at all these very things in my yard.
