A small world within a big world

A small world within a big world

A Story by writer in trial

You could have at least told me that you didn’t feel good that night. I thought you liked it. But at the end you left me forever. Did you blame me afterwards for what happened between us? I am again feeling morally down and my own existence seems to me a kind of torture.”

Goodbye Tasha…….

Ronald was a 38 year old professor in a reputed university. He was a physics prodigy. In spite of his great talent, he was underestimated by most of his colleagues and students. Particularly, his habits and daily routine annoyed them a lot. Students used to bunk his classes regularly and never paid attention to his lectures. The way he repeatedly said the same things pissed them off. He has this foolish kinda look with big specs over his eyes which made even easy for others to pass jokes. One month back his wife left her saying that “he is too much annoying in bed “which made him even more depressed and reserved. He used to visit doctors frequently. He told them that he had some kinda psychological disorder and needed medicinal help. But after check up, doctors found everything perfect and called it some sort of fake illness. They suggested him to bring some changes in his life style and to mix with the people around.

After two months………

A new girl named Tasha joined the university. She got very much impressed by professor’s talent. She enjoyed his classes ignoring his habits and get up. Ronald somehow felt happy from inside that someone actually adored his talent. One day she came to him and requested to teach her some new stuff every weekend. Ronald agreed happily to become her tutor. As days passed by, their bonding became more and more strong. Once it was raining heavily and Tasha came to his house totally wet. Her silky red bikini seemed to be visually more prominent inside of the wet transparent white dress she wore. It was becoming very hard for Ronald to resist himself as she was looking extremely beautiful in this stage. His intentions were approaching towards wildness. Before he could do something, she hugged him tight and kissed his lips softly. That night they made love and enjoyed it. In early morning, when he woke up, he found Tasha not in bed. He became tensed. He had no contacts of her. Many days he waited, but she didn’t come. He again went back to his normal form. But this time more depressed and broken hearted. As days passed by, he began to hate himself for the way he is. He assumed that Tasha might have felt the same as his wife thought about his sexual appeal. Somehow, he became sure that Tasha used and cheated him. He began to hate his own existence and decided to give it an end. That night he ate too much sleeping pills with alcohol which led to his death next morning. Last few lines written in his diary were:

“I waited for you Tasha, but you didn’t come back. You left me alone in this world hopeless and miserable. But I still love you and I hope you will miss me at least when I left you forever.”

As the sun rose, a huge crowd was gathered outside his house. Police started investigating about his death and finally found the diary. They immediately went to the university for more details, but they came out with a shocking result. Ronald’s colleagues told them that he had already left the university two months back and never returned afterwards. Also, no girl named Tasha joined in between and after his resignation. It became totally mess and highly contradictory with respect to Ronald’s writing. But only Ronald knew what that was?

It was a virtual world and a lady created by him that showed him the love, betrayal and death.

A very interesting concept and twist to the story. Other than a few grammar errors I found this to be very well written and enjoyable. Great job, Writer.
