Beauty makes the world unfair.
It casts an unwise judgement
Full of doubts and painful stare
It’s worn like a bleeding garment

Beauty may bring broken ground
A smile that is flimsily caught
Yet light is just as easily found
It’s good that beauty’s taught

Beauty brings quick and sharp emotion
Burns the raw and vibrant heart
New thoughts, a spark, a smiling notion
It bursts in flavours of sweet or tart

Despite all the pain it just keeps giving
Beauty makes life worth living
