I sat at The End

I sat at The End

A Poem by ProfessorPadilla
"

I recently had a friend who had a family member pass away. I saw a very emotional photo of him holding on to his relatives hand, and this is what I got out of the photo. R.I.P

"
I sat at the end,
looking at all the machines engulf him.

The light above his head grew dim.

I sat at the end, remembering the ideals he had taught me.

As I walked in they told me to cover my tee.

I sat at the end, understanding my new found role I was given.

Knowing that I was going to be the last person he'd ever seen.

I sat at the end.

I think the poem should reflect its source more, at least including an establishment of the family relationship here. Overall I really liked this poem, I cant think of anything really important to add or take away, just my opinions.

Goodpoem. I understand why youleft the last line in; it added continuity to the poem.

Thank you Marie. :)
I like the style of this poem, but I can't help but think it would have ended on a stronger note if you took out that last line. Nice job :)
