You’ve described all those Internet stones and arrows flung on the Internet very well in this poem. All through history it has always been those who think of themselves as having no faults who have precipitated war and violence in the name of purification. Let he who is without fault purify the world, but who may that be, or how may such a person purify society short of engaging in catastrophic acts of violence? Beware of definers of absolute good and evil, for there are no absolutes. Good and evil is a dynamic function of the present situation, and that changes from moment to moment. A sane person is willing to change in order to adapt to changing conditions. The only indicator that we have of “Good” is sanity, and sanity it that mentality which enables us to survive together as one human tribe with empathy for all points-of-view and an intelligence for compromise.

The tendency to cast judgement is an all too common human tendency with gossip and the public airing of things that should remain private. The consequences of this behaviour becomes monumental for those judged given the permanency of the internet. People have, in fact, been driven to kill themselves after an internet shaming. I hope this piece offers a sober second to those who look to indulge in public shaming.

I feel some people or especially women were attacking a man whom they think he is guilty for some reason or another and they threw cyber barbs and name calling on the internet. I feel the sarcasm in this write but to deliver the power of the message. Not given facts or more info so I have to deduce that. Bravo........

Leaving the man/woman aspect aside, I just think we need to be more forgiving and careful with each other. We all come from the same place and will go there when we die … anger has a way of blurring this.

A rant all on its own. You display frustration, anger and self worth with this one. As the words formed lines they spilled an enormous amount of passion for whats right or wrong. Sticks and stones need not be the tools of choice these days as social media hits harder and the affects last longer.
