Bengal Tigers Like Bacon Marinated in Rage

This week I take a further look at anger … why it is natural and useless. Also tips on escaping a tiger. Included are the poems Leviathan of Fire, from Tattoo, Calling All Soldier Home, and Reverse Chameleon, from Monsters.

fascinating - we do confuse other emotions and sensations as anger. I've done this myself.

That we do ... fear the post common one. Hope you having a great day, my friend:)
Amazing! The anger licks and crawls but has a substance to it. Also it simmers which is good.

Thank you, Sindu.
Yes, anger is natural -- and even necessary sometimes. But, letting it boil over into acts of rage will only ever achieve suffering on all sides. Rage makes us set aside our intellect, our reason. Without our intellect and reasoned compassion, we loose our humanity.

"You can't see your reflection in boiling water. Similarly, you can't see the truths in your life in a state of anger." ––unknown

yw :)
The candle on the mantle seems earthquake proof... and tiger resistant. It's life burns down between the iron coils, safe from tippage but ... oh, wait, there is no down side. :)

I just want to say something silly... coolaroons. Yes, that's it. Why do you write such good stuff? Monkeys with sticks cringe to drag them through the sand. Low flying birds fear to actually aim for spotless, white cars or sample Fedoras. There's always the flounder... too low to feel intimidated.

Lovely … very lovely
deeply thought out mini series on anger .. i am glad once again to be reminded to shed anger ... not always easy is it!? :}
James 1:19-20 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

Pryde,

I'm beginning to gulp! Excuse my piggish ness! You have an uncanny sense for metaphor unlike anyone here at the cafe. I just wish you could fill more of the YouTube screen that way we can enjoy your beauty all the more.

Al

I love your vlog episodes Pryde - theyyyre GRRRREAT !
the annotations give it an extra je ne sais quoi - was the 'see an eye doctor' a play on words to see a therapist - or did I miss soemthing and actually literally need to see an eye doctor - whatever it was I burst out laughing when it popped up.

I enjoy my Friday with Pryde-day - look forward to it. thanks for the RR you rock n roller !!

I have a constant battle with anger - most times Im on top of it but on the odd occasion when I get caught in the moment it gets the upper hand.
