Change

Change

A Poem by Dissimilar
"

The transformation.

"

I have changed.

Do you believe me?

No more rhymes filled with sorrow,

Verses of true despair have vanished,

If you only liked me for those poems

Then please leave me be.

From now till forever

I promise to focus on my happiness,

And to focus on helping others with their battles.

Poetry will be filled with nature and beauty,

Not suffering and hate,

The days of Shattered Tears have come to an end.

To all of my friends -

I am still me, but a different me;

A better me.

If you ever need someone to talk to

I am here to guide you.

Never feel alone.

I have changed.

Do you believe me?

Author's Note

Dissimilar
I have changed a great deal over the past month, and I would like to share that transformation with you.
From now on my poetry won't be about suffering, anguish, depression, and hurt.
I'm not saying that my poetry is going to be completely different. I am simply saying that the chapter of my life filled with sadness and darkness is over, and it's too difficult to go back there.

I hope you will all stand by me as I try out new poetry topics/formats/etc. Thank you! :-)

in retrospect this poem this poem strikes me as dark and full of despair,
because the urgency of need is a driving or for change, the nature
of the change feels like a suffering for a new beginning, on the other hand the talent that has shaped your words is obvious. 100
