You Know Nothing

You Know Nothing

A Poem by Caleb

You never say goodbye,

Only there to pass the time,

Unhinging all truths with lies.

Kindness knows you not,

Never entering your heart.

Off you go, to another cot;

Wishing always to be apart.

Never have you let me in;

On and off your love has been.

Tonight we share this one last meal;

Here I am, wishing your heart to steal.

I can no longer feel the love we had.

Now I see that this was only a fad;

Go! Be free, you heartless nomad!
