You Finally Got Me

You Finally Got Me

A Poem by QuietPoet

You Finally Got Me

If you were standing in front of me

At this moment

I would tell you

You got me

You finally got me

You played me once again

Now can you let me live my life

Without this and without… You…

If I were to tell you this to your face

I would form tears in my eyes

But I would not break

I would just make you feel the pain

That I have felt the day I met you

You finally got me..

Now can you just let me live my life

Without you…

This is so sweet...and reflecting an immense pain in a straingt-to way.
I like the fonts you chose and it flows well.

The title was so misleading! wow. This was tragic and I was so expecting the opposite! Wow. Good luck in the contest. Cheers, lea

it is nice and sad the picture of a lady with tears in her eyes is very eazy to see in this.

This is a sad write but I like its simplicity. Were it mine I think the bulk of the write is defined in this section;

"If you were standing in front of me
At this moment
I would tell you
You got me
You finally got me
You played me once again
Now can you let me live my life
Without this and without You

This bit tells it all, the hurt, anger etc. I think the rest of the write is perhaps un-necessary and maybe even a little too redundant. Just a thought...
