Nature And Life

The mountains have gotten taller
And my body hasn’t given up
But the top will never come

 

When the rain pours all around me
I feel it cleaning me out
But sometimes it drowns me

 

As the ocean waves take me down
I’m thinking of a way out
They will never swallow me

 

There are trees that are bigger
They will knock me down
But will never defeat me

 

The roses show beauty
But there’s always that one flower
That will hide away everything

 

All the birds in the world
There’s always that baby in the nest
That’s ready for lift off

 

The sky is what gives hope
To look up at the blue
And knowing someone is watching over you

I must say, this is a Wonderfully Beautiful poem, Kylie. Inspiration for the masses to read and absorb into their own views. Outstanding, to say the least. Well it's just as it's states...about nature and life. Loved the comparisons as they flowed smoothly and clearly understood. I really like the defiant can do attitude and the obstacles that seem too large to overcome.
