A stuggle between the powerful and destitute. As they try to regain what they've lost, the forgotten discover beauty everywhere.

The Forgotten

The forgotten badlands,

Withheld rationale from.

Graciousness teetering,

Disruptive woeful sums!

Unwillingness haunting,

Confined untidy weight.

Gravity forbidding tales,

Declare their ailing fate!

Discrepancy feasted on,

Overlooking less distant.

Lofty indifference aches.

Integrity doctrines went!

The drowning sensation,

Numbing the warm soul.

Indiscretion ashes weep,

Menacing senseless toll!

An allegiance slumbers,

Piling unrelenting upon.

The forgotten prophecy,

Melancholy overdrawn!

The forgotten scarred of,

A fragmented innocence.

Unmindful they disfigure,

Tangled in consequence.

The forgotten friendships,

Guilt-laden jagged thorns.

Darkness flogs unabated,

In shrill wayward mourns!

Pawns are the forgotten,

Shunned insignificant by!

Timely crosshairs close.

Another heart knots tied.

Actions are consequent.

Withdrawal so destined.

Courtesy slid dispiriting,

Lashing ghastly lessons!

Grim emptiness aperture.

Immanent stolen liberties.

Wretched outlets thunder!

The forgotten dream free.

One heart withered away,

Wanting to be unleashed!

The forgotten, restrained,

Labour torment’s release.

A cleft bludgeoned soul,

Spirals unseen upwards,

Summoning its strength,

Floating back earthward.

A wilting happy meadow,

Under clinging raindrops,

The forgotten celebrated,

All loveliness backdrops!

The forgotten outshine for,

Good yesterday bypassed.

Kindness favour reserved,

Fairing uprightness at last!

Imperative good embeds,

Airing deep immoral chill.

Life glimmered hard onto,

The forgotten’s gutsy will!
