Tears That Won't Fall

Tears That Won't Fall

A Poem by QuothCorvid

My eyes burning

I said goodbye

But couldn't watch the others cry

Am I a coward because I couldn't stay?

Couldn't watch them carry you away

Beside your grave

I froze down deep, and not from cold

How can loss make you feel so old?

Old tired worn spead thin exahusted.

I tried not to mourn that you left

I tried to remember your wonderful life

But I am left feeling selfish that you are gone

Selfish because I don't think I was ready for you to go.

full of emotions..have you been through this kind of situation..the poem's so sad..
but in a good way, I like how you created it with free flow and schemes..keep up the good work!
