JC'S Song

JC'S Song

A Poem by Shawn Killian
"

JC is cool. He''s part of the goths. He and I came up with this. My lines are in bold, his in italics.

"

You see yourself

day to day

Take the blade

Take a chance

Roll the dice

Exit stage right

You ain't got a chance to survive

Tell me would it be okay

If Jesse hurt himself today

Tell me would it be fine

If Jesse dined in hell tonight

You look at me everyday

And everyday it's the same routine

You trip on what i wear

Everytime i swear

Even on my hair

Time for me to exit stage right

I ain't got a chance to survive.

Tell me would it be right

For Jesse to die tonight

Tell me if it'll be okay

Jesse chose the razor blade tonight

This is really deep and I love it. You made me care for Jesse. Each time you asked a question I was mentally screaming, "No!"

Very interesting. A nice ending. I like how it went back and forth....kinda like someone is talking to Jesse? lol, I like it very well expressed and it links very well together.
