What Do You Want?

What Do You Want?

A Poem by Shawn Killian
"

Parents suck

"

Don't tell me what to do

I will never bow to your will

Don't tell me what to speak

I will never learn your language

Don't tell me what to wear

I will never walk the line of normality

Don't try to use me

I will never be a pawn on your chessboard

Don't try to abuse me

I will never be submissive

Why do you insist on being my puppeteer

What could you possibly want from me?
