Complicated

Not all relationships are fairy tale like....but that doesn't make them any less special. Where love prevails...joy follows.

When all seems down and low,

and it all seems to go so slow.

Then you realise its meant to be,

this melancholic piece of me.

Complicated things are so,

Broken, forever more.

Endless hours of painful tears,

Conviction that the end is near.

Everything that still remains,

is hidden between the frames.

All thats left is a goodbye now,

and the memories,

that will remind me of our love.

I would go a step further than your byline & say that MOST relationships are not fairy-tale-like. You've done a good job of showing how things can be tough, but it's still a rewarding journey. We all need understanding & comfort, becuz we all eventually hit hard times. I like the idea in your final stanza, that even when things end sadly, we've got memories to sustain.
