HidingA Poem by Becca*Type2012A poem about human nature and the way people act.People have masks they hide behind. Masks are a way to keep yourself from the outside world.
They find the outside world,
Scary and frightening.
Humans don’t want to let the outside world in,
So they hide from it.
Man kind is scared of being found out,
So they remain secretive and hidden. Masks protect people from being open.
Openness unites cultures and races,
And if people were open,
There would be less conflict and violence.
