Breath

Breath

A Poem by Light

Breath~

Heaven shudders
dim noises of wonders
they gleam
 Finding their paths through ether
occult splendour
Reflected in my longing heart

I can hear the Nature's voices
moaning through ardent realm
Awaiting the rebirth
the labour of new Creator
and I can feel His first sighs
whispering, commanding
each of my senses
"Come fill my well of thirst"
~~~
It's the rapturous Majesty
The loving of universe
Through You
It's the glorious divinity
of an adoring Deity
Drifting me through
It's simply
Your Soul's breath
Breathtaking~
My entity.
We were given from breath and we need to breathe that breath given into our spirits every moment we are alive- oh the majestic beauty and presence of the unseen spirit of the omnipotent omnipresent one who holds and keeps us from falling- wonderful🌹
Such a personal piece of writing, a display of faith melded with a need to progress further. You use fine language, create tableaux that fill the mind as well as the eyes.
Thank You so much my friend for Your lovely words, I'm pleased You liked my humble poem :)
This is my first, and I felt transported to a new realm, in which only our souls could go to, as the body would be to heavy to support. The essence of the soul and spirit, can be felt throughout this whole piece. I loved it, and enjoyed reading it. I can see, that you indeed, are very experienced in writing.
Its so good to see you here sharing your words with us my friend ... and I see that others from our former site are finding their way here too.
The words you've shared in this piece are very Spiritual, heartfelt and presented in an appealing format.
As in your previous pieces it is very clear that you are still waiting for the Reality of "filling his well of thirst", but until you do we will continue to be blessed with your yearning & hauntingly beautiful words through your writing.
Please take care and have a wonderful day.
Blessings, 🙏
It is interesting the poet chose "Breath" as the title for this work, for the root of the word breath is the same as that for spirit, and this is definitely a spiritual piece. In fact, the first two verses seem to describe the birth of spirit in the human consciousness. The "new Creator" is that high level of being who is calling the senses to "Come fill my well of thirst." The last verse gives the impression that this mystical birth is being achieved through interaction with another. This may be an indication that we are talking about a supreme human experience as well as a spiritual one. Either way, the poet gets her point across with powerful imagery. Well done.
PS: I am have some difficulty with the phrase "Drifting me through" in the last verse. I keep thinking it should be "Drifting through me." Perhaps I should think of it in terms of spirit propelling the speaker rather than penetrating her.
I've been seeing you online for a while now, and have been eager to read your works. Because of the eloquence of your reviews, I assumed you were a skilled writer ... based on this, I was right.
This poem is marvelous in both its visual presentation and in the imaginative, ethereal quality of its words. I like how you describe love with a strong spiritual essence. I also enjoyed the resonance of the last few lines in how they reflect the title and theme. Overall, an amazing work, GH. Looking forward to reading more ...
