The Psalm ~Poetess's Elegy~

The Psalm ~Poetess's Elegy~

A Poem by Light

The Psalm

~Poetess's Elegy~

(I born from the lightness, to the lightness I fade)

May my Soul ribbons;

into myriad undying lights

balsam to the pains, sufferings and grieves.

May each poem I bled

turn into a hymn;

soothing faith flows through the troubled world.

May each tear I shed;

be a gentle grace,

upon each needing heart and spirit.

May each silent sacrifice;

I  made,

be a sparkle of hope somewhere out there.

May my devotion be;

the harbor for You to bask

under my divine Love.

and

 I hear it from above,

heavens saying to me;

"Cry Him rivers,

smile Him sunshine,

write Him tomes,

but  my child, someday You must understand,

He still will love You not."

You, who never knew me,

meet me,

or ever will…

I drank my full of life.

now,

let my Love be…

and

May I join Gods

with their warming harmony,

so soon…

so soon…

It reads like a sacred song to me indeed....didn't enjoy but could feel it deep...and the more lines I read here the more deep I went...am honest, dear!
The laments here and the condolence at last are so profoundly penned...
I hope you're fine and going happy..
hope you be always blessed with smiles...Love you❤

I cannot recall the last poem I read that was graced with the the word "tome" so wonderful to see it again! A wonder pain of the hear puling in payercjl from the a language rarely heard anymore, You've done very very well here Light and of course you may call me as you wish, after all, what is in a name? Will the bird give up his perch once he is given a name? For me, it is in his actions that defines who he is or rather who he is not ? Smiles!

Ohhhhh beautiful- beyond words- they will never know even what they think they have come to know- for beyond the naked eye there’s so much left unseen and they can never appreciate like we deserve but it’s not about us but the journey to be able to say as your words so gracefully explained as long as we left our mark touched a souls brought a smile healed a heart- it’s there where our journeys made whole- one day to return from whence we come that oh so happy day- sending gentle hugs and soft kisses to grace your cheeks- blessings dear selfless soul - joy awaits like never before🌹

your opening line is an intellectual hook that implies deep pain ..well done says i! making sense of suffering in the world can be a difficult thing ...why do the innocent suffer? i appreciate how your speaker turns it around and makes it a balsam ... a safe harbor ..a comfort in faith .... it turns my thoughts to the sacrifice the Creator made of Jesus Christ ... whether one believes that or not ... the theme is rather eternal it seems ... our mess demands a sacrifice ... its interesting to me that your poem keeps the Poetess as the omnipotent ... yet in V6 Heaven itself tells her she will not have that lost and very human love ...and then she speaks directly to the reader ... those who never knew her ... its a little confusing for me at this point but your closing does wrap it up well as she laments having run the course ... shouldered her crosses ... offered that sacrifice for others ... she wants rest ... peace ... and to be with God ... certainly i can be way off your intent but those are the thoughts inspired in reading ... its noteworthy to be read several times says i ... a lot of richness in living and spiritual yearning ..your poem sure enough drew me in Light!

The Universe is a constant flow of pristine energy, a constant exchange, a give and take and love always begets love. Your words inspire and fill one with hope. The imagery is strong and immortalizes love and the selflessness it brings in its wake. It also says a lot to me of the poet's beauty of spirit! Kudos Light!
