Life, Death and Everything In Between...

Life, Death and Everything In Between...

A Poem by Rachel Renee

Shadows, like spiders,

Weaving their webs.

Stopping the tortures,

Escaping your head

Paranoia, like flies,

Buzzing about your mind.

You dismiss them as annoying,

They multiply, combine.

Rumours, like roaches,

Run amok about your life.

They’re hard to destroy,

When they only cause more strife.

Nightmares, like lightning,

Bright flashes of cause.

The scare is unbelievable,

Bringing the fear new doors.

Life, like the seasons,

Death and beauty fight.

A song that must always end,

But not when comes the night.

This got harder to write near the end, because I didn't want it just to end, but I didn't want it to be all rambling...
