Wishing for death

Wishing for death

A Poem by Raghib
"

A blank verse .

"
I am wishing for death,
wont it come today ?
i don't belong here,
there's too much take.
cant you see, the humanity,
losing its ways, turning insane .
cant you see, these selfish beings,
they don't care, all they want is their own way .

Was i cursed, to see it all ,
am i mad, broken in half.
i remain a bystander ,
seeing it all , laughing at them .
what they show is all a farce ,
cursing others , stabbing their backs .
i am wishing for death ,
it wont come .
find my place,
in this forsaken world .

A stark blankness, indeed... But beauty lays in the obscenely dirty, sometimes... Very well penned, friend...

no matter if the world got insane.
stay true to yourself, share love, do good, be kind and stay alive because the world needs more of that.

Thank you very much
My own original saying is absolute truth:

Alls you can do...is alls you can do".

Be kind to strangers, but don't be stupid, be safe so you can stay alive to help others.

Somedays, one small act at a time has to be enough for you to rest your racing brain.

P.S. You ARE taking literary license here and this is not your true state of mind, right?

Death is never the answer.
"i am wishing for death ,
it wont come .
find my place,
in this forsaken world ."
When life is hard and no kindness to be found. Be the example. Lead with kindness, concern and hopeful words and smile. I liked the poem. You made the reader react. The goal of the writer.

I'm glad. Distress can make us know madness.
A bit depressing, but it's well written and it makes its point!

Being able to (or should that be taking the time/trouble to) see 'behind the curtain' seems like a curse - why aren't all like this? Perhaps they are but are also aware of the toll such concern takes on their own person that they 'switch off'.
Perhaps a healthy balance can be struck between empathising and not being overly sensitive to things we cannot alter.
Definitely thought stirring writing Raghib.
well done!

Heart wrenching. This poem hits hard and expressed exactly the way one feels sometimes. I can relate with it, I think the same sometimes.

You are right. You're welcome.
Grammar was a little off, but other than that, bravo! You conveyed what you were feeling very well. Reality is sad and horrible, and people are a product of that. Great job.
