Back Home, My Heart

I love all of you

I almost don't want to write this

I simply want to take in a moment

Without needing to express

But this joy in my heart is so intense

I just can't not share it

I feel so alive and free and this sense

Of life inside me, light around me

I finally feel reunited with my being

It's wonderful and pure and true

I'm so glad I finally returned to You

I just didn't know how long

That I would be gone

But I've returned, my friend

We're finally together again

Hearts broken, will always mend

So many things fade like autumn leaves

But the love in my heart will never leave

I can always return home

No matter how far I've gone

This is where I belong
