Adieu

Adieu

A Poem by Raja
"

To long memories, gone!

"

Adieu

Layers of time,

With you being stunned

In hypnotic shrill,

The first Encounter and your fantasy in me…

Literature exposed in open parentheses,

No colons, no inversions,

A figurative luster

With unspoken desire in silent rhythm

Pause…action…pause…action

While you too unveiled your senses…

To reminisce that afterwards "

Gateway of touches, glistening to

Shape up imperfection in something unbuttoned,

Something that creates cheers!

Where are you?

What made you take so long to stand unobserved on the other side and think of us?

We were two to create one in one single pause

You shined; you inclined, if I’m not mistaken,

You doing your jig all along

Are you scared standing in front?

Didn’t we see each other like this before…’bare’?

Pointing out on your body you said,

“You remember, you mentioned once the portion in me should be chiseled out?”

‘Yes, I remember!’

“It’s gone,

I’m now the slender

I’m new to sleep

I’m the desire, manifold in someone’s gestures,

I’m the action beheld…

Remember, I’ve become the one you always mentioned…”

‘I do

I do, but for someone…not for me!

My ever sought desire

I do! Not for us…’
