Diverse to form The Great One

Diverse to form The Great One

A Poem by Rainslover
"

Everything is unique to form one unique being, The Supreme!

"
The various bright dark colors flashed,
As I walked in the streets of Jaipur;
So many races in different colors,
Brightened the rainbow South Africa;

So many awesome beautiful sounds I heard,
As I walked in the different states of One India;
Beauty I experienced in the different climatic greens,
As I went across the so diverse yet one Globe;

Old and young came together,
To make the experience and idea a miracle;
The two beautiful souls of male and female different,
To become one and form that one into a beautiful soul;

Ethnicity, Religion everything preached the one Truth,
In the name of the Almighty;
All the unique souls came forward and merged into,
The Supreme Soul!

Immediately, the poem caught my attention by the title, which is great. A poet, or any writer for that matter, needs a title that can grab the readers attention.
You also make a great point, that we may all seem different but we really we are all part of a single soul when we leave. It is an interesting concept, one that is great for a story as well as a poem.
I have nothing against the poem, it is beautifully written and portrayed, but sometimes you have to be careful when touching upon such topics as the afterlife because it may contradict many other beliefs.
Otherwise, I have no other complaints. This is a touching and inspiring piece and something that I believe everyone should read.

First (bright dark colors) is a contradiction you tend to have one or the other. I think I understand for what you were going for from reading the rest of your poem, so here is an idea for you "The various colors bright and dark flashed/sparkled".
This is a nice take on the idea of the uni-mind, seeing it from a fresh young mind is inspiring and hopeful. Why to go my friend, this poem shows your heart and mind are not only in the right place but very big as well :~)

Thank you so much! :)
LOVE the last stanza. Maybe use some different wording rather than straight up saying "different races", but that's just my personal writing style. It's great the way it is as well!
