Front-line

Front-line

A Poem by Raven2017

People look to you filled with fear and you are the one on the front line
So why did people fear the want to fight for them
When you’re out there on the front line it’s like you are there but you die inside
When you pull the trigger feeling that you’re never going to be the same
When you return people lose what we have fought so hard to get
Our independence
Independence day is the day that we’re celebrating the day we won our independence but doing really celebrate
When the want to fart come home in a casket or wounded
Every day they put their lives on the line for us but whatever you do in return for them for their service
What happened to the dignity and respect of a country that’s there is one against evil that exists in this world
What happen to standing up for what’s right
