His Name was Love

Ive seen him before.

Quite a few times.

Always happy and cheerul,

Full of laughter and smiles.

Maybe i should introduce myself? I thought

He just seemed so appealing

Mixed emotions and thoughts 

ive never experienced such a feeling

But before i could introduce myself, he introduced himself to me

A whirlwind began to stir

I felt like a ship tossed by rough sea's

At first i enjoyed this new experience, i just couldnt explain

But who knew this joy could turn sour and then into pain

He became apart of me suddenly, i cant explain how

It was pure joy and laughter, but im full of tears now 

It feels like a rollercoaster being with him

Yet he is everything i need. My new addiction, my sin

I am trapped in his bondage with no desire to be made free

Who was he? 

What did he do to me? 

His name was love

Love captured me

Found you as a member of the Jesus Freaks groups. And I thought that at first the poem was about what it was first like when you became Christian like the happiness and joy and then it turned into the hurt and pain when you became tempted by sin and rejection from non religious people.
Anywho not what it's about clearly lol. But I still enjoyed reading! It was very good
