Le Rouge Ecolé: #3 Lunch Time Special

Le Rouge Ecolé: #3 Lunch Time Special

A Story by Raven Wyntermoon
"

Series of Mini Short Stories about students & teachers of Le Rouge Ecolé.

"

Gertha and Bertha were exceptional Siamese twin cooks.

They follow all instructions by the book.

“Nutritious and good!” is what they say.

That’s why they’re the chiefs of Le Rouge Ecolé.

Since the school has gone green,

“Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!” is their theme.

No food shall be wasted, no ingredients shall be spared.

Each recipe is different; no flavors can compare.

Gravedigger’s Pie is one of their constant specials.

However, various species grow like apothecial.

The pies are made from leftover meals.

That used to squirt, dribble and squeal.

“We had mice problems once,” said Janitor Joe

“But now we don’t,” said Nurse Soho

“I choked on a whisker while eating the pie.”

“I had fruit punch made from leftover lye.”

“Nothing is as yummy as Eyeball Soup!”

“They churn in your stomach and make you go poop.”

Well, on that note it is safe to say

That there’s great cooks at Le Rouge Ecolé.
