People say life is hard and that it’s unfair,

But what really is life?

Life is the beauty all around us.

The way dandelions sway in the summer breeze,

The buzzing of a fly’s wings,

The slow yawn and stretch of an old tabby cat,

The flush of a young girl’s cheeks when a boy is around,

A newborn baby’s first cry in this world,

The smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning,

The sound of a musician’s foot tapping in perfect rhythm,

The clicking of a student’s pen as they listen to a lecture,

And the sound of a beating heart.

Life is all around us and it’s beautiful.

The difficulties we face are simply products of the circumstances we’re put in.

The busy traffic, spilled water, failed test, broken pencil, bad haircut, stress, and expenses aren’t because of life; they’re because of other factors like homework, rush hour, a new employee, or simply an accident.

People get down on their luck because their perception of life is so off centered.

Life makes the fallouts and misfortune possible, but it doesn’t create them.

Life is the drive and motivation to get up every morning and face your circumstances.
