The woman in the white dress

Sips white wine 

And plays the white side of chess 

The woman with the red lips 

Seduces men and 

And in the purse she keeps her tips

The woman with the dark eyes 

Watches from the corners 

And laughs at all the lies

The woman with the long hair 

Hides behind the tresses

Afraid of any stares

The woman with the roses 

Is always in the center 

Stricking all the poses  

But the woman who no one noticed 

Became the queen when they sought attention 

For she was the subtlest

~Each woman here seems to embody the characteristics of a woman of a different societal status. The last one being the less dangerous of them all and the one least overbearing. The subtle touch often includes a bit of mystery as well which is intriguing not only to woman but men. This seems to suggest a lesson. ~

Hahaha the tale of society today of the most powerful and the ones who started from the bottom to the glory of all now forsaken ed eyes. This poem reminds me of myself, and the other quiet girls/boys in school. The ones who always passed their classes, came home to sheer beatings, poverty, etc. But the will was far greater. Nice work once again.

Raya - I would look into this one again...and deplete the words and give this more for less...the verse is wanting to come out...but not as is... for example:

Lady in the white dress
