Wonderlust

A Chapter by Robin
"

California Koan

"

I walked

and I awakened

along the river of Kings

to a waterfall graced

by blazing stars and red maids

the end of the trail

with so much more

in this season of light

for me to explore

my heart accepting

the invitation

funny how water has a way of awakening the heart. We live between two mountain creeks, the whole mountain is nested with slow and quick running streams. There is incredible energy coursing through every one. How could anyone one resist an invitation?

This has a very regal and grand tone to it. It gave me a vision of biblical times as I read it. Love it!

i picture someone enamoured and entranced by the beauty of nature..though this is different,i'm somehow reminded of Ruskin Bond..may be its because he writes about nature and surroundings with such flawlessness..loved this one..

Such delicate imagery..."in this season of light..." from that moment on, especially entrancing, I dangled. ~ Rose
