Selene

Selene

A Poem by Robin
"

mytho evolution

"

Amaterasu whispered to the night
as a blue world spun under a full moon

a ballerina on a highwire

dancing to quantum music

her gilded box of paradox

in a tesseract dreamscape

a goddess is borne

secret sutras pour from jade eyes

as she dips her brush into the light

indigo tendrils climb to the stars

as she spills hope into a wishing well

she calls her wolf to her side

and scrys the depths of his eyes

horse nuzzles her hand

" it is time , we must go "

they gallop bareback through the storm

to the edge of humanity

her heart laced in the language of gods

she slips from her kimono

a brocade of glimmering Koi

and she curls into the moon

shimmering reflections upon a black sea

a butterfly in silk

a dove in rhythm

a living haiga

in a surreal world ~

and all you have to do is allow it the space in time to reveal itself and sigh.

the words are as infinite as the images.

Okay, my exact words after reading this one...
"Oh my gosh.." Breathless with wonder. How every woman would wish a man to see her. This is truely magical in every sense. The sensuality becomes an image. You are fabulous with imagery.

huge applause. to both poet and muse.
this somehow does justice to everything it is, while leaving the mind space to understand and grasp all that cannot be expressed about the ever evolving music box of divine gift that is selene.
