Runaway

Runaway

A Poem by Bec

Moving  through the City

Full of glitz, glamour and everything fine

I'm wearing jewellery and an exquisite dress

Darting through the crowds, to get to places with much fame

I am a runaway

Skating on the snow

Moving sofly and swiftly

Gliding on Ice

Completing pirouettes and figure eights

Watch me float on air

I am a runaway

Swimming in the ocean

Playing with sea creatures

And crustaceans

I'm swimming in a pool

Called the seven seas

All around the world

I am a runway

Riding through the country

I see miles of land

 Open space galore

Galloping away on a golden horse

Following the wind

I am a runaway

Going to wherever

I want to go

Heading off to places

That no-one knows

I am a runaway
