A Tribute to Gothic FictionA Poem by RebornLegacyOnce you stare into the Raven's eye, your spine will never know warmth...A Tribute to
Gothic Fiction. Shall we to the night wind tell eerie tales? Tales resembling Lovecraft’s spine-chilling dreams? Or tales that plagued the genius Edgar Poe? The Black Cat, the Raven, the Lurking Fear? Well then to the fire put more firewood, Roll the logs nearer whereon we shall sit, Think not of roasting the marshmallows child, Rest on someone’s chest, hold thy blanket tight. We shall look a while into the chimney, Oooh like arachnophobia flirtation We shall spin our dreams with the spiders’ web, Look, watch the blood drizzle from our noses. Heart palpitating with every line read, Falling in love with the author’s nightmares. © 2015 RebornLegacyFeatured Review
