NO I LOVE YOU UNSAID

NO I LOVE YOU UNSAID

A Poem by ReedWrite
"

Easier said than done.

"

As the year ends, I can’t help but reflect,

                On everything left behind.

The loved ones that passed, the strife and discord,

                The joys…and the desperate grind.

Facing the unknown, I ponder what’s to come.

                So many blank pages ahead.

Different blessings and losses will surely play out,

All those I love yous, left unsaid.

There’s no way to know just what’s in store,

Who will live…and who will die.

We cannot predict how this old world will turn,

Or count the hellos and goodbyes.

Looking at the whole of it, I’m overwhelmed,

With hate and discord so widespread.

My resolution is simple--take it one day at a time,

No moment unlived, and no I love you, unsaid.

I love you!

Thank you so much, Tabby. Glad you enjoyed it.
A very thoughtful poem on reality of life. No body know what happened tomorrow but we should live with love every day and every moment. Every line of the poem is true and well said. I love last two lines.

Thank you, Pete.
Appreciate the review and comment.
Hello lovely! Beautiful soft tone and rich reflections. Too often we don't celebrate those who we love and are grateful for, the blessings great and small.

I really enjoyed all the Silent Screams, Pam...but I knew I would anyway. Fantastic job, but that's no surprise.

Good to be back gorgeous!
I love this! Too often we neglect to love and appreciate who and what we have - BUT - then its gone and we belatedly reflect on all the things we should have said or done - like telling them we love them. Thank you for the write.

Hoping your year goes well, too, Paul.
Thank you for the read and comment.
Reading your soft, rich reflections and pondering the radiance of these moments past. Standing in this new moment now, this new year, wishing for this too. May each breath be known for the miracle it is, and no precious soul feel distant from us this year. xo

Beautiful words, Eros!
Thank you for reading and commenting. Much appreciated.
There are resolutions in Omaha that spread across the country but find the base in the sanctity of honesty.

Al
