Angel of Another Day

Wanted to write a poem about a guardian angel.

Wings a shield,

Halo Glows,

Protecting such a gentle rose,

Heart has healed,

Deep inside,

Pain to finally just subside,

Lying down in golden field,

You seem to gasp at the sight,

Of my golden wings in flight,

Us together, forever sealed. 

Lying in gentle golden field.
