BEYOND THE WALL OF FIFTY STATES

Fists fall like hammers 
when the balance of power 
shifts, reverting to the old 
ways once again, 

the meeting they attend 
humanity they suspend 
to reinstate confusion 
and hate, 

a villain of the ball, defacing 
the halls of transgressions, 
where the weak will here the call, 

and stand by a wall 
of separation, a declaration 
of humanities fall from grace, 
into hate, beyond the wall
of fifty states.
