Tygers Voice

Tygers Voice

A Poem by Revera Love
"

Written in response to William Blakes Tyger Tyger.

"

Tyger! Tyger!

you call my name.

Should I step forth,

You fear my flame.

You, so high on heaven's fumes.

You who question What's and Why's

stand before my twisted heart.

lift the smoke from your own eyes!

Furnace was it that held my brain?

Anvil, Hammer, and a chain?

Gaze on fearful symmetry.

Those stars fell for You and Me.

You stand tall.

A spear withen your dreaded grasp.

My buring eyes

Holding you with its deadly clasp.

Son of Lamb!

so you claim to be.

must I tender my voice for you to see

He who Dare make YOUR LAMB made me.
