Illusion of me

Illusion of me

A Poem by Revery
"

The need to express myself

"

I ache to splash my blood on the page,

to pour myself out, wonder, love and rage.
I am neatly put together, attempting perfect you see.
Few know the complex paradoxes of me.

Ohhhh.... This is the first time I have read your work, it's great :) What a perfect introduction before I read more of your writings! :)

Direct, honest and haunting. Makes me curious to know what are the paradoxes and what/who the writer is. A vampire? A tormented artist? An angry lover seeking vengance? A fake, superficial person who nobody really knows but thinks is a "really nice person"?

It's a great beginning but doesn't take me anywhere or know anything more. Like a movie with an ending which doesn't have an ending but just stops. I'd like to learn more as to where this is going.
