Venom

Venom

A Poem by Pensmoke Poems

The kiss of death
The breath of rot

Hidden behind cherry red
And masked by mint

Gruesome in spirit
Vile in intention

Stuffed in an hourglass
And covered with a sweet smile

Deadly and cunning
Yet seemingly harmless

Drawn in
I was the next victim

"Stuffed in an hourglass and covered in a sweet smile." That tells me it might be a woman you're describing. And the worst kind. Reminds me of that Elton John song-Someone saved my life tonight.' Well chosen words here to describe her if that's what it about. I was already wrong once today. :)
