‘For fates two hearts forever wed’- no more needs to be said about ‘meant to be love’, never yearning, consumed and burning .. emotions fueling the senses and desires so complete....tender touch of the out of bounds caressing the most intimate places... never been tasted🌹amazing poem nothing else to say🌹

As you have Mentioned the details make all the difference. The sonnet is beautifully staged.
The sonnet itself is outstanding! Shakespeare would be proud! The message is so heart warming and it speaks of love in a way that speaks true over all generations even though it's in a style of past...the imagery is divine and I want to read it again and again to make it last!
It's one of those reads that warms the soul! Well done as always! You have a talent and ability to write in so many different styles! It's inspiring and encourages and reminds me to challenge myself. LOVE THIS ONE!

I can barely wait, Sammi! : )
Lovely message in this double sonnet. Very classical in content and execution. I also like the underlying theme that love is always with you and part of you. It stays alive through thought and memories. So even if someone has died, or cannot be there due to distance, they are still a part of us and our heart. Yes I do believe that is the true test of love. Are they still a part of you when they have gone.

I really do not see anything here to criticise in it form, meter, or content Richard. This is another well-done piece in true Shakespearean English tradition. I think it is something worth playing with, but perhaps, Spenserian or Italian will be my take. There are so many sonnet forms when you look at all the combinations...LOL Most likely I'll start writing and the poem will decide which form, I write.
This is well done. Strangely enough, with my love of poetry, I never took a poetic course in college. Strange for someone with an English minor.

Lovely, Richard. I think this will inspire me to ditch Shakespeare and get rid of my unnecessary capitals.

From start to finish this is written by someone who knows the magic of traditional romantic poetry, the seemingly effortless use of both phrasing and meter. Forgive me if I ask but might this have the gentle influence of Keats, I wonder.. has that gentle style he used so very eloquently?

Thank you to Jazzy for guiding me your way and of course, to you for presenting such a Sunday treat!
