This Happy Song’s for You! (joyful)

This Happy Song’s for You!

Fill your heart with gladness,
sing bright this happy song:
“Shoo away all sadness,
rid yourself of all that’s wrong.

Cry no more tears of sorrow,
let the sunshine in;
look forward to tomorrow,
and face it with a grin.

Allow love to embrace you,
open your arms wide;
there’s someone who is true,
so let them come inside.

See the joy on flowers’ faces,
hear soft laughter in the air;
let it into all your places,
there’s so much love to share!”

Captured by the alluring bleat,
of love’s soft, enchanting fife …
stand and dance on happy feet,
to the primal tune of life.

When you feel love’s sweet caress,
sigh, then, and smile all through;
be warmly willing to confess,
"This happy song’s for You!"

What powerful visions of hope, love and life. To be this free would be a gift and you captured this gift beautifully. I really like your writing and look forward to reading more. I have nothing to critique because your writing make me FEEL SOMETHING when I am otherwise numb.

Some people tend to forget there are good people in the world, and although this is definitely not the main theme, that was my favorite verse, so I wanted to say that first ;P (look at me, such a prattler)
All in all, it's a happy song about happy love. Thanks for sharing this with the community of Writer's Cafe, even if it's not necessarily recent. May you have a nice night!

Richar.d,
You know this poem was like a message, "saying allow yourself to be happy just because." These kinds of positive words can make a change in the whole out look of someone. It is appreciated. A little bit of sunshine can bring hope and a healthier out look.
Blessings,
Kathy

Such a happiness is your poem! Every line, every phrase, turns a smile into laughter then - in turn, wraps around the heart! . We need more of that, far, far, far, FAR more.

' See the joy on flowers’ faces, -- Hear soft laughter in the air; -- let it into all your places, -- there’s so much love to share! '

Can't improve on your shared delight or inspiration... :)
