I T S ⁓ (envisioning)

A Poem by Richard🖌
"

Unmetered Quatrains … unusual mood for me, just something I awoke to I'd been dreaming of.

"

I T S ~

          O’ touch its soft

          caressing care,

          cherish it oft,

          lissomely share.

          Upon the wind

          its lush bouquet,

          within, ascend …

          its charms obey.

          Breathe in its taste,

          adore its motion,

          tightly embraced,

          lured by its potion.

          Warmly moist

          its petals’ dew,

          to rise ’n foist

          deeply into.

         'Pon rigid spire

          its rippling grip,

          with surging fire,

          incessant clip …

          there is no quitting

          its captive spell,

         ’til perfectly befitting

          its sating quell.

Fine writing as always, a subtle examaple of the Unmetered Quadtraine

Softly sensual ... appealing to the imaginative mind of it's reader and the mood conjured up by reader/writer. Takes skill to put this feeling across. Thank you for sharing this.

Well now Richard!... Not sure how well I can review this poem..but I will certainly try. If I would close my eyes and imagine a man so entralled with his lover...this would be it. For me, this speaks of tendernesss, want and desire....satisfaction. IT'S a lovers poem..but, from a mans perspective..this I just LOVE!!.I love the softness...wait! its the appreciation..that I'm picking up...ahhh to feel those feelings from a lover so grateful...what a gift :-)..love the pic.shy and gentle woman..

First of all it's really pretty. The apostrophe is a primmer in meter, thank you for that lesson and tip. I'm at sea about what "it" is. Am I supposed to be?
Is it like a New Yorker cartoon that all get but me?
Maybe that's the point? Maybe one day I'll stop, dead in my tracks, and say "oh".

Yes, ITS sensational and mysterious like a User who is waiting on the affects of a drug to bring them to a sated quell. Its much different than what you may have intended but its the message I received. I didn’t quite get how the picture fit in with your words unless ITS has another meaning altogether. Yours, Angel

Yes, it feels like a dream, dreamy, profound, sensational, mysterious, passionate like a real dream must be, there is an ascend ethereal ecstasy, like a spirit rising with the shree glory of the powerful deepest emotions, there is a lure in each (ITS) word, and its verses, that even makes this piece more special and unique, there is amount of bliss and blessings sweep through Your words, like You are in heaven, Your spirit is embraced with the rapture of a prim sensation, a rapturous sensation of rebirthing... this feels not only a dream, but urge us to "a'dream"... the image too, touches my heart in a special way, all of the atmosphere gives me a feeling of ancient love story that still lives till today, from generation to another... like a goddess love, or a myth story.
