Fighting Demons

Fighting Demons

A Poem by Riley McKinney

Do not presume you know my world!

Collapsing, crashing, burning, retracting.

I have fought a thousand demons!

Biting, scratching, screaming, smashing.

And I will fight a thousand more!

Pushing, clawing, kicking, tricking.

I love this poem. Don't be afraid to use punctuation and stanzas as a tool. Furthermore, consider justification as yet another weapon at your disposal.

Well done. I will email you some examples of what I mean above.

Again your poem is great the way it is, I just know other writers have given me advice over the years that have helped me.
