Terrible creature

Terrible creature

A Story by Ripple of Aqua
"

When you do nothing, when later on you know you should've done something.

"
I feel obnoxious, ugly, ungrateful, stupid, unworthy, worthless, selfish
 Have I learned nothing of my years of travel?
My head feels hot with fever;
 My eyes full of tears;
 My stomach cold as ice.
I have done nothing wrong,
But I know I gave no effort to do what's right for myself.
 I don't deserve these enclosed warm walls;
 They suffocate me.
I wish to go out in the night;
The winter chill leaking into my pores,
And wait.
 Wait outside until my blood stops;
 Until my fingers freeze into place;
 Until the wind can whisper in my bones.
 Because when it does, others can say:
 "Here lies a terrible creature; learn from them."

I am in love with this. It is so relateable, I have felt this way before many times. I have read some of your other pieces and I think you are a beautiful writer. Please try to look at some of my writing and tell me what you think in the reviews.
