A poem I wrote for my Fiancee for our two year anniversary.

Upon the petals of a rose

I leave a secret nobody knows.

Never has been a moment so true

As every one I have spent with you.

The red of its passion, reflect in my eyes.

Between us there will be no more lies.

Radiating the sweet scent of love,

Showing me what has come from above.

With your gentle touch, as light as a feather,

I know that I will be yours forever.

Your loving voice resounds in my ears,

So deep and true it abates all my fears.

And within your loving arms embrace,

In this world there is no safer place.

best lines ever. It nice to find something that is romantic but not overdone. Most of the time, they end up being either so good that they make no sense or (more often than not) about breaking up. Poetry is expressive and a bunch of people cross it out as a way to show depression and anger. At least someone out there hasnt fallen to this sterio type. Great write
