Sorting it Out

Sorting it Out

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

A poem about my personal daily battle...

"
My daily struggle
a perpetual cycle
Who will be fed today -
darkness or light?
Trying to sort it all out -
when to be gentle, and when
a permanent solution must
press on through the fight
Enduring the stains
on my world, the crinkles
and mismatches
I do not comprehend
Worth it, you aver -
the strife to be unsullied
still I must question -
Will the laundry never end?

Something we all go through, but we would not be human if we didn't. Plus you are a teacher like me so our daily moods are often dictacted by how our students behave. I normally start off choosing the light and veer towards the darkness as the day progresses! And finally, NO the washing never ends. Great little piece.

Not weird at all. Life is dark and light, and as for the laundry, nope, it never ends.
