Deceptive Hologram

Deceptive Hologram

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

"

Physics has no business

in matters of heart space

void of formulas, logic or reason

Matriculated students of the subliminal

seeking hidden clues

of mutiny or treason

In the currency of compassion

fiscal apathy is on the books

Deceptive holograms are painted,

nothingness with reality’s looks

Unattractive nature,

a mask of charm juxtaposed

Like a brown and barren lawn

embellished with cheap flamingos

I wouldn't call this bad at all :)

You actually did justice to the words given for the contest.

It was fun to see how you used them, they were tricky for sure. It has been interesting to see what everyone is coming up with.

Thank you, Dya! This was an interesting contest, so many different ways to use that list!
I don't consider this as a "bad poem", Rita. Sorry, you have no chance of winning if the "worst poem" gets to win. ;) This is a really good integration of the seemingly pointless words. Clever. Very clever :)

The contest involves linking a random list of words; quite a challenge! Thanks, Blue!
You really did a great job with the words provided....I nearly did not realize it was supposed to be a "bad" poem. Very creative, Rita. Lydi**

When I was at school Maths/Physics were never my strong point, but I did get an O-level pass at English so I can emphasize completely with this delightful hypothesis!

:) Thanks for the read of this confusing piece, Tom!
Another example of some very fine bad poetry, Rita. I'm certainly going to have a hard time figuring out which is the very best bad poem - wonder how the moderator will ever choose? lol Sounds like you had a lot of fun writing this, so all's well that end bad, I always say!
