In My Life I thought I’d learned

That All You Need is Love

But Honey Pie,

I Should Have Known Better,

When you flew

like a Blackbird or dove

 

Eight Days a Week

we’d Come Together;

We just couldn’t Let It Be

then Yesterday,

you bought a Ticket to Ride,

All My Loving just wasn’t the key

 

I thought that you would Love Me Do,

and We Can Work It Out

Anytime at All, we could Get Back;

I Want to Hold Your Hand still,

no doubt

 

With a Little Help from My Friends,

I’ve learned

that You Can’t Buy Me Love

The Magical Mystery Tour we were on

You’re no longer worthy of

 

Now, Across the Universe

each day, I’ll Follow the Sun,

‘Got to Get You into My Life’

are words

I’ll utter to no one!

I couldn't resist reading this when I saw the album cover. I did something similar with lyrics but came to a halt when I couldn't find anything else. I like the way you were able to fit all the titles into a cohesive story. Great stuff Rita.

i just finished showing Across the Universe to my lit class...they were the best, The Beatles...

nice tribute to them...i found myself reading the last line as "I'll utter 'For No One'"
