A Lie

A Lie

A Poem by Riya patel

Every single time, when you lied,
You don't even know,
How much I cried?
Sitting in the snow.

You thought that I was a fool,
But it was my love for you.
Every time you break rule,
I kept on my mouth a kind of glue.

This time I'll make sure,
That I'll not cry,
But make you guilty,
Now whenever you lied.
