SWEET LOVE

SWEET LOVE

A Poem by SJ Mullins
"

A reminiscence of the beginning of our romance 38 years ago.

"
Slow dance with me, my love,
as the rain drenches us from above.
Hold me ever so tightly, my dear;
I’m cold from the rain, draw me near.

Kiss me long and deeply, darlin’,
for your sweet love, I am starvin’.
Pick me up in your arms, honey;
you make me happy, you’re so funny.

I want you to show me the world, honey bun,
because we have only just begun.
