Actually

Actually

A Poem by Rolai Giab
"

Wrote this in one of my (very, very rare) happy moments that last about 30 minutes. They come every year or so.

"
I see lines,
a bit like vines.
Swirling but straightening,
thinner but thicker,
longer but shorter.
No direction in particular.

Beauty itself,
perhaps an original creation,
put up on a shelf,
and forgotten in the shadows.
Why?

Very smooth flow, jumping lightly and breezily from one topic to the next. A nice little poem that I enjoyed reading. Very nicely written. It's no epic, but it doesnt try to be, and that's the beauty of it. A simple poem with a deep and open message. I rather like it. Keep writin'.

Hello, this feels (to me) like a beautiful picture which has distracted you and almost hypnotised you. Or even an exceptional old book. Well that's my interpretation and you wonder why it's just been placed in a dark corner.
I read aloud and it rolled easily. Thank you for sharing

Nicely penned, I loved your use of words! and Yes, why must Beauty been forgotten and left alone?
